Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, Inc. in Bloomington, MN, is seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field to join our manufacturing support team.

You will work on process improvements, SPC, Gage R&R, Six-Sigma, and collaborate across functions. Responsibilities include analyzing failed runs, maintaining reliable recipes, supporting equipment qualification, and contributing to yield and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques and statistics.
• Working knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six‑Sigma methodology.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must as this role will require in depth cooperation with multiple functions and manufacturing sections.
• Skills in technical writing, computers, problem solving and organization.

What We Offer

Salary

The estimated base salary range for the position is $77,000-$90,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job‑related experience, skills and level of the position.
