Job summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Electrician (Tech 4 or Higher) to join the Carlin Process Maintenance team in Nevada. You will perform electrical repairs, installations, inspections and preventive maintenance across plant equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a large mining operation.
Key duties include reading schematics and P&IDs, working with NEC guidelines, and troubleshooting PLCs and control systems.
Qualifications
- Experience performing electrical repairs, installations, inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code and high voltage up to 15 kV.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
- Demonstrated proficiency in PLCs and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Works as a team member.
- Perform electrical repairs, installations, inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical lines, machinery and equipment throughout the plant.
- Read, comprehend, and interpret instrumentation data sheets, schematics, P&IDs, blueprints and instructional guides; use computer tools and software.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 15 kV and maintain documentation.
