Job summary

Barrick Gold Corporation’s Nevada Gold Mines in Carlin, NV is seeking a Process Maintenance Electrician (Tech 4 or Higher) to join the Process Maintenance team. You will perform electrical repairs, installs, and preventive maintenance across plant systems, read schematics, P&IDs, and instrument data sheets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

This role requires the ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days, plus proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and Ellipse

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical repairs and maintenance in a plant setting.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and up to 15 kV systems.
• Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation data sheets.
• Willingness to work rotating night/day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, installations, inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Interpret schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation data sheets.
• Operate and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and motor control systems.
• Maintain documentation and parts using Ellipse CMMS.
• Work rotating shifts as required.
