Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines in Elko, NV is seeking a Process Electrical Planner to lead a maintenance team at our Cortez operation. The role emphasizes developing standard job plans, budgeting, and coordinating shutdowns in SAP and Ivara systems.

You will mentor crews and ensure safe, efficient maintenance execution. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills, experience with SAP and Xeras, and a proven record in pumping, piping, and electrical instrumentation maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• Experience using SAP, Xeras (or similar Zero-based budgeting tool) preferred.
• Experience maintaining pumping, piping and electrical instrumentation equipment preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and drawings preferred.
• Excellent safety and attendance record required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and utilize SJPs (Standard Job Plans) for routine maintenance activities per corporate standards.
• Develop and Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Month end accruals, reclasses, and report on month end cost performance.
• Build and coordinate one-time job plans for maintenance due to operational changes, statutory changes or equipment improvements.
• Support maintenance strategy development by implementing analyses in the Ivara work management tool.
• Review and optimize resources, parts, tooling, safety information, risk assessment and staging related to SJPs.
• Ensure routine maintenance SJPs, safety information, drawings and PM activities are uploaded and maintained in SAP.
• Review and approve invoices for payment.
• Liaise with supply chain to expedite parts and contractor labor; interface with other operations and maintenance personnel to schedule plant shutdowns.
• Communicate with maintenance supervisors to plan, estimate, and identify labor, services and skills; assist with shutdown design, planning, and coordination.
• Update and maintain status of work orders in SAP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
