Job summary
Natera is seeking a Manager, Process Development to oversee tech transfers, process improvements, and best-practice development for the Extractions Lab. You will lead a direct team that coordinates change control, documents updates, and necessary interactions with stakeholders across Natera teams.
The role requires a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related field and at least 6 years of industry experience in genetic testing.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related field required.
- 6+ years industry experience in genetic testing or related field.
- Experience with assay development and/or QC strongly desired.
- CLIA/FDA laboratory support experience strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tech transfers, process improvements and best-practice development for Extractions Lab.
- Lead a team coordinating change control and document updates.
- Coordinate interactions with stakeholders across Natera teams.
- Identify opportunities for process/workflow improvements and drive projects.
- Represent Extraction needs in product launches and cross-functional meetings.
- Develop subordinates through coaching, mentoring and training.
