Placements24 is seeking a diligent Process Development Engineer to enhance and scale chemical processes within an established manufacturing setting. You will translate lab findings into robust, scalable production, collaborating with R&D and operations to drive efficiency, quality, and cost reductions.

The role requires a chemistry-forward mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and process optimization on-site at our Welkom facility.

Formación

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of process development experience.
• Experience in experimental design and data analysis.
• Familiarity with process modeling is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork on-site.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up chemical processes from pilot to commercial production.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to identify process improvements and troubleshoot production issues.
• Design and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams on new product introductions and process modifications.
• Ensure all process development activities adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including process descriptions and validation reports.
