Job summary

Ingenyx is seeking a process engineer to support shop floor processes, scale-up, and transfer of new manufacturing methods for medical devices. You will lead development and validation activities, collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure robust, repeatable manufacturing.

The role involves directing capital projects and driving improvements with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant technical and manufacturing experience.
Demonstrates the behaviors required for effective teamwork.
Customer focus and awareness (internal and external customers).
Demonstrated ability to drive assignments to completion with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow‑through.
Comfortable operating in situations with evolving priorities and incomplete information while exercising sound engineering judgment.
Ability to communicate technical issues, recommendations, risks, and project status clearly and concisely to operators, leadership, quality, and customers.
Ability to coordinate effectively across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Operations to drive timely decision‑making and implementation.

Responsibilities

Provide process engineering support on shop floor processes (conductors, insulated wire, micro tubing, laser ablation, and related medical technologies).
Support scale-up and transfer of manufacturing processes and products within the facility.
Lead major projects involving capital improvement, process improvement, and new products.
Provide technical and troubleshooting support for operators to promote throughput and quality.
Establish or modify procedures to promote consistent operations across all shifts.
Set process parameters and controls; complete development builds as assigned.
Execute required validation activities and document business case summaries with payback analysis.
Assist in meeting KPI targets related to production yield, profit, sales, and on-time delivery.
