Saint-Gobain Performance Polymer Solutions in Hoosick Falls, NY, seeks a Process Development Engineer to improve manufacturing processes in the Tape Solutions business. You will lead projects, analyze data, and implement new technologies to increase efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and 2+ years in batch mixing, wet coating, web handling, and process development, with experience in DoE, automation, and safety reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing processes: batch prep, mixing, wet coating, web handling, conversion.
• 2+ years in process development, optimization, troubleshooting, trial planning, equipment design/safety reviews, Management of Change.
• Experience with automation, process data, data exchange, closed-loop systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes across the Tape Solutions business.
• Implement new technologies and DoE-based trial plans.
• Lead projects with risk mitigation, cost analysis, and scheduling.
• Work with coating, web handling, and automation equipment; ensure safety and reliability.
