Job summary

Cabaletta Bio in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Associate Scientist, Process Development to refine, develop, and transfer candidate therapies through CDMOs. You will collaborate with MSAT, Analytical Development, QA, and supply chain, with up to 10% travel and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include DoE design, quality attribute assessment, and assisting cGMP clinical manufacturing. The role emphasizes data integrity, training, and coordinating with internal/external partners to advance

Qualifications

• B.S. with 3+ years or M.S. with 1+ years in process development and manufacturing under cGMP.
• Experience with T-cells or immunological cell therapies.
• Experience with cell therapy manufacturing scale-up and tech transfer.
• Prior work in DoE and process optimization is preferred.
• Strong coordination and communication, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute process development plans, protocols, and reports; present data to teams.
• Design DoE studies to support process improvement and CQAs.
• Support PD for cell therapy production using QbD principles.
• Assist transfer of processes to CDMOs for clinical manufacturing.
• Develop and review eBRs aligned with GMP and process requirements.
• Capture data accurately with high data integrity and timely updates.
• Maintain training compliance for all team members.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve cost, throughput, and quality.
• Coordinate shipping/tracking of clinical materials with internal/external teams.
• Manage lab materials and coordinate procurement with the lab manager.
