Job summary

Aequor in Cambridge, MA seeks a Process Development Associate Scientist for onsite 12‑month contract to support analytical method development and protein-based biotherapeutics. The role focuses on HPLC/UPLC, troubleshooting, and data documentation.

You will work in a cross‑functional team, perform analyses with capillary electrophoresis and LC methods, maintain instruments, and contribute to regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2 years scientific/pharmaceutical experience or Bachelor's with 4 years experience.
• 2+ years laboratory experience in industry
• Analytical chemistry/biochemistry experience
• Biopharmaceutical industry experience

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional team environment to advance therapies in late-stage development.
• Analyze late-stage protein-based therapies with analytical techniques such as capillary electrophoresis, liquid chromatography, and compendial methods (pH, visual appearance, turbidity).
• Support development, optimization, and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
• Data analysis, electronic notebook records, drafting protocols and reports, presenting results at team meetings, and regulatory filing support as needed.
• Expert level troubleshooting and maintenance of HPLC/UPLC instruments.
• Expertise in Empower software for instrument methods and data handling.
