Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, engineering, or related field.

• Hands-on experience with precision fermentation and downstream processing, including scaling downstream processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative mindset to work across laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for production trials.

Responsibilities

• Support development, testing, and scale-up of new food color products and manufacturing processes.
• Operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment while evaluating materials, product performance, and process improvements.
• Assist with production trials at partner facilities by collecting data and documenting results.
• Maintain operating procedures, quality records, and documentation meeting regulatory and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with scientists, production teams, and external partners to transfer new technologies into manufacturing.

• Support the development, testing, and scale up of new food color products and manufacturing processes.
• Operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment while evaluating raw materials, product performance, and process improvements.
• Assist with production trials at partner facilities by collecting data, documenting results, and collaborating with technical teams.
• Maintain accurate operating procedures, quality records, and documentation that meet regulatory and quality requirements.
• Work with scientists, production teams, and external partners to transfer new technologies into manufacturing.
