Job summary

System One in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes with emphasis on automated warehouse and material-flow systems, robotic welding and continuous improvement.   • Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and ERP systems.
  • Strong Lean skills including 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally and onsite work.

  • Develop and improve robotic welding processes, tooling, fixtures, programming, and workflows to increase quality, consistency, throughput, and equipment utilization.
  • Enhance manual welding processes, workstations, fixtures, tooling, ergonomics, standard work, and material flow to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive or non-value-added activities and support the implementation of new technologies to enhance manufacturing flexibility and efficiency.

Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a leading manufacturer in the Tulsa, OK area.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes with a focus on automated warehouse and material-flow systems, robotic welding, manual welding operations, manufacturing automation, and continuous improvement, with additional support for unmanned machining initiatives.
  • Own projects from concept through implementation, playing a key role in scaling manufacturing capability.
  • Improve automated material flow, including warehouse, storage, and retrieval processes, and optimize the movement of raw materials, work-in-process, tooling, and finished components.
  • Develop and improve robotic welding processes, tooling, fixtures, programming, and workflows to increase quality, consistency, throughput, and equipment utilization.
  • Enhance manual welding processes, workstations, fixtures, tooling, ergonomics, standard work, and material flow to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive or non-value-added activities and support the implementation of new technologies to enhance manufacturing flexibility and efficiency.
  • Support unmanned manufacturing initiatives to extend unattended operation and improve reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by eliminating waste, reducing downtime, increasing throughput, and simplifying workflows.
  • Evaluate and implement new equipment, automation, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing technologies from concept through production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ERP systems, automation, robotics, CNC manufacturing systems, or related manufacturing technologies preferred.
  • Experience supporting welding, automation, material handling, machining, or other production environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, standard work, process improvement, and root cause analysis.
  • Comfortable working with established manufacturing processes and emerging automation technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, proactive, and accountable with the ability to independently drive solutions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally and work flexible hours as required.
