Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join our Federal Services Group in multiple U.S. locations, including Kennesaw, GA. You will design chemical processes, develop P&IDs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while engaging with DOE facilities and clients.

The role requires strong technical writing, collaboration across disciplines, and travel up to 15%. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 4 years of Process Engineering experience.
Experience in chemical, nuclear or federal field preferred.
EIT certification preferred.
Experience in design of chemical processes systems and controls; able to develop P&IDs and perform transient analyses.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality engineering documents that meet codes and regulations.
Lead projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
Continuously expand knowledge of industry codes, safety culture and design techniques.
Collaborate across disciplines and with clients to deliver innovative solutions.
Engage with clients at plant sites and perform walkdowns to optimize systems.
