FPC National, a global specialty chemical manufacturer in North Florida, seeks a Process Controls Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and continuously improve plant process control and automation systems. The role focuses on DCS/PLC programming, system optimization, and ensuring reliability across OT infrastructure.
You will support Siemens PCS 7 and other industrial platforms, work with operations and maintenance, and drive improvements in control loops, instrumentation, and networked
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical preferred).
- 3+ years in programming, maintaining, or supporting industrial DCS/PLC systems.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or process plant environments.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, electrical schematics, and instrumentation drawings.
Mansioni
- Develop, modify, and maintain DCS and PLC programming to support production requirements and process improvements.
- Provide technical support for plant automation systems, including Siemens PCS 7 and other control platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve control system issues involving hardware, software, networks, and instrumentation.
- Evaluate existing control system infrastructure and develop solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Manage automation projects from design through commissioning, including system upgrades.
