Job summary

Storion Energy is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to lead automation scale-up for our US manufacturing expansion in Alpharetta, GA. You will own control systems, PLC/DCS, HMI/SCADA, and networked automation, collaborating with engineering and operations to move from lab to full-scale production.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on automation in manufacturing, knowledge of PID controls, and experience with Python or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own automation aspects for equipment: instrumentation, electrical, automation, HMI, SCADA.
• Collaborate with vendors on hardware/software for controls.
• Develop and integrate PLC-based controls, PID, and sequencing.
• Develop and deploy assembly automation and robotic integration.
• Assist in network communications between PLCs and other systems.
• Design and deploy HMI/SCADA for data collection.
• Support Python/C++-based applications as needed.
• Create documentation and train others.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through control system implementation.
