Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to elevate automation infrastructure, manage HMI design, and implement control strategies to improve plant output, reliability, and speed. You will design and refine automation frameworks, maintain essential technical records, and work with operations and maintenance to quickly diagnose and fix control-system issues.

You will collaborate across departments to integrate new equipment and capital initiatives, while continually identifying

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent certification.
Minimum of five years in process, controls, or automation engineering within industrial manufacturing.
Proven expertise in PLC-based automation and plant-wide DCS.
Preference for exposure to multiple automation vendors and platforms.
Experience managing full project lifecycle from design to commissioning.
Knowledge of system integration concepts and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

Design and adjust automation frameworks to bolster throughput, product consistency, and reliability.
Maintain technical records including backups, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance to rectify control system malfunctions.
Work with multiple departments to integrate new equipment and capital initiatives.
Identify areas to streamline automation and process workflows.
