Job summary

Seaboard Energy seeks an Industrial Automation and Process Controls Engineer to lead refinery DCS, SIS and OT support. You will manage capital projects from front end loading to commissioning and ensure SIS designs meet standards.

The role requires experience with IEC61511/ISA 84, Rockwell PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and FAT/SAT activities, as well as strong collaboration with operations, vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with IEC61511 and ISA 84 SIS.
• 3+ years' experience as a Controls Engineer performing design, programming, and startup tasks.
• 3+ years’ experience programming Allen-Bradley Logix platform PLCs and Studio5000.
• 3+ years’ experience with SCADA/HMI software development specifically FactoryTalk View SE for Distributed Applications and Historian.
• Strong networking/computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Must interact effectively with staff, vendors, operations, engineers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade automated systems to meet Seaboard standards.
• Provide troubleshooting for PID loop tuning and data analysis.
• Coordinate control system and SIS vendor activities across multiple projects.
• Develop DCS and SIS I/O assignments and P&ID drawings.
• Lead FAT/IFAT/SAT tests and HMI development for projects.
