Qualifications

  • Complete understanding of product specifications and process flow.
  • Thorough understanding of HACCP, SSOP, and other related documents.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor defined activities and process control points.
  • Inspect and address issues that could result in an NR.
  • Record required information and initiate immediate corrective actions.

Skills

Responsibilities

To monitor defined activities and process control points. Record required information and initiate immediate corrective action as necessary to keep the process in control. Inspect condensation and leaks, identify housekeeping issues, and inspect the graded and designated area. Inspect and address issues that could result in an NR.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Complete understanding of product specifications and process flow within the respective department.
  • Thorough understanding of Food Safety and Sanitation principles, HACCP, and SOP.
  • Basic Math Skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
  • Excellent attendance, work, and safety record.
  • Ability to interact with associates, management, QA, and USDA.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Some computer skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, SOP documents, and other workplace documents related to Further Processing.
  • Knowledge of Further Processing (Ready to Cook) Job Functions.
