Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Process Control Technician to join the IT/OT team in Patterson, GA. You will maintain and repair PLC/HMI systems, support 24/7 production, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering to implement control projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with process control, calibration records, and cyber security compliance. A high school diploma with PLC certs or equivalent is expected; a bachelor’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant certifications in PLCs or equivalent.
• Experience with process control systems, SCADA and data historians preferred.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, troubleshooting and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair PLC and HMI systems to support 24/7 production.
• Troubleshoot process control issues and document investigations.
• Coordinate with Electrical/Instrumentation and Operations for project starts.
• Perform backups, patches, antivirus updates and inventory control.
• Support process control change requests and improve plant efficiency.
