Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Process Control Systems Engineer to design, deploy and sustain Run-to-Run (R2R) and Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) strategies for wafer manufacturing.

The role collaborates with manufacturing, engineering and information systems teams on site and globally, focusing on process stability, yield and quality. You will develop R2R controllers, monitor performance, and drive improvements using data analysis and AMAT E3 tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of process control methods, including SPC, R2R, and FDC.
• Experience with data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot software, system, and equipment communication issues.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, and experience across functions.

Responsibilities

• Define control requirements with manufacturing and engineering customers and select R2R and FDC solutions.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain R2R controllers and FDC strategies with data collection and OCAPs.
• Monitor performance and use data analysis to improve control methods.
• Use AMAT E3 to implement strategy enhancements and develop smaller R2R code modules.
• Configure data collection and troubleshoot strategy, tool, system, and communication issues.
• Investigate process variation and root causes, driving corrective actions.
• Deliver R2R training and share lessons learned with global teams.
