Job summary

Micron Technology in Manassas, VA, seeks an experienced Run-to-Run (R2R) Engineer to implement, maintain, and enhance control solutions that boost manufacturing performance and process stability.

You will collaborate with global teams, apply statistical methods, and leverage AI-enabled tools to optimize processes, improve yields, and support product ramp activities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Control Theory, Control Systems, Automation and Control Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, process control concepts, and control theory.
• Experience with statistical data analysis, process capability improvement methodologies, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and optimize R2R control strategies using E3 software to improve process capability, product quality, yield, and efficiency.
• Analyze process and manufacturing data using statistical methods and SPC to identify variation reduction opportunities and improve Cpk.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Process Integration, Manufacturing, and worldwide R2R teams to implement enhancements and standardized methods.
• Provide technical support for deployed control solutions, including troubleshooting and on-call coverage.
• Create training materials and user guidance while leveraging AI tools to improve data analysis and engineering productivity.
