Job summary

Kodak is seeking a Process Engineer to support Operations and Maintenance by applying expertise in process control, instrumentation, and automation. The role aims to improve process capability, yield, and equipment reliability while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The engineer will lead projects, troubleshoot control systems, calibrate instrumentation, and develop operating procedures. Collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering is essential to drive

Qualifications

  • Experience with process control, instrumentation, and automation in chemical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SPC, process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with DCS, PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and data acquisition tools.
  • Understanding of process safety, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Awareness of ASME, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain plant process control, automation, and data systems strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead design, implementation, commissioning, and optimization of process control systems.
  • Manage data acquisition systems, including data collection, reporting, and analytics.
  • Coordinate with engineering firms, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors for projects and upgrades.
  • Implement alarm management systems and improve performance metrics.
  • Optimize control systems through tuning and continuous improvement.
  • Establish instrumentation standards, calibration practices, and reliability specs.
  • Develop technical training for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Support outages, startups, troubleshooting, and safe operations.
