Job summary

Kodak in Columbus, GA is seeking a Process Engineer to support plant Operations and Maintenance by applying process control, instrumentation, and automation expertise. You will analyze process losses and downtime, lead improvement projects, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Equipment Engineering teams to boost yield, reliability, and safety.

This role requires strong data analysis, leadership in troubleshooting, and the ability to implement scalable process improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical (preferred), Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
Experience in process control, instrumentation, and automation preferred.
0–5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain plant process control, automation, and data systems strategy and roadmaps.
Lead design, implementation, commissioning, and optimization of process control systems.
Manage data acquisition systems, including data collection, reporting, trending, and analytics.
Coordinate with engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and contractors on projects.
Improve alarm management systems, including reduction of nuisance alarms and performance analysis.
