Job summary

You will lead process improvement projects, troubleshoot control systems, support instrumentation maintenance and calibration, and develop procedures to ensure safe and reliable plant operation, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with process control, instrumentation, and automation in chemical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SPC, process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with DCS/PLC/HMI systems and data acquisition tools.
• Understanding of process safety, risk assessment, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plant process control, automation, and data systems strategy and standards.
• Lead design, implementation, commissioning, and optimization of control systems.
• Manage data acquisition systems, reporting, trending, alarms, and analytics.
• Coordinate with engineering firms, vendors, and contractors for projects and upgrades.
• Improve alarm management and tune controllers for performance gains.
• Establish instrumentation standards and calibration practices for reliability.
• Develop technical training for operators, maintenance, and engineers.
• Support outages, startups, troubleshooting, and safe emergency response.
