Dow Inc. seeks a Process Control Operator to join our Alberta Operations, optimizing plant performance and ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations.

The role includes monitoring equipment, operating control systems, and supporting commissioning and training programs. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, progress towards ABSA 4th Class Power Engineering, a valid Canadian driver's license, and the ability to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progress towards ABSA 4th Class Power Engineering certification.
• Valid Canadian Driver's License.
• Ability to legally work in Canada.
• Preferred: Technical diploma in Chemical or Power Engineering Technology.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant equipment and systems.
• Operate and adjust process controls to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct field checks, equipment maintenance, and system adjustments.
• Uphold Dow's Life Critical Standards for safe operations.
• Support plant commissioning and participate in advanced training programs.
• Adhere to 12-hour rotating shift schedules upon plant startup.
• Participate in an intensive 3-year training program.
• Support emergency response and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
