Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of Industrial Maintenance / Automation or manufacturing experience.
• PLC programming experience 3+ years (Rockwell platform preferred).
• Experience with Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk platform.
• Ability to read and interpret loop sheets and schematics.
• Ability to develop control documentation and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Involved in controls and automation design, implementation, and support of hardware and software for mill process equipment (Rockwell).
• Design, implement and configure advanced process control strategies; maintain functional design specifications.
• Troubleshoot installed systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Act as a project resource for installation of new instrumentation or control/automation systems.
• Partner with corporate teams to implement new technologies for advanced manufacturing.
• Support the mill safety program personally and through observation.
• Work with mill personnel to identify opportunities and solve problems.
