Job summary

Johnson Matthey Inc. is seeking a Production Process Control Engineer to drive coating-line efficiency on PGM and Non PGM processes while ensuring product meets customer specifications and safety standards.

You will work with Maintenance, Washcoat, Quality, Process Engineering, and Automation teams to optimize parameters, reduce downtime, and implement new technologies. The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, training of personnel, and detailed reporting to supervisors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of production and/or catalyst manufacturing experience.
At least 1 year of batch process experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, monitor and troubleshoot equipment on production lines and related processes.
Monitor and control the production process to meet specifications.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Washcoat, Quality, Process Engineering, and Automation teams.
Lead Lean Manufacturing activities such as Kaizen or 5S.
Provide weekly/monthly reports on operating results.
