Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Devon, PA is seeking a Production Process Control Engineer to optimize coating processes and monitor production lines. You will work with maintenance, quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot, implement improvements and ensure product meets specifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, 2+ years in production and batch processing, and a strong foundation in statistics and analytics. On-site with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years production and/or catalyst manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years batch process experience preferred.
• Familiarity with statistical methods for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead efforts to optimize process parameters to improve cycle times and reduce waste.
• Interact with Maintenance, Washcoat, Quality, Process Engineering, and Automation teams to solve problems.
• Support implementation of new technologies and train personnel.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports on operating results as directed.
