Job summary

Cindavi is hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own and strengthen the networking, servers, and domain services across two nearby facilities in McIntyre, GA. The role is hands-on, with autonomy and visibility into plant performance and IT/OT integration.

You will work with SCADA, HMI, historians, PLCs, and OT cybersecurity, ensuring secure, available, and reliable operations while collaborating with Engineering, IT, Maintenance, and Operations leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure, server, networking, or cybersecurity experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft domains, Active Directory, servers, switches, and VLANs.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Administer domain controllers, Active Directory, user permissions, licensing, and plant operation servers.
• Configure and maintain switches, VLANs, network connections, and communications between process-control devices and business systems.
• Diagnose outages, historian issues, data collection interruptions, and plant visibility problems.
• Support SCADA, HMI, historian, PLC, operator stations, and OT cybersecurity alongside controls specialists.
• Improve reliability, cyber security, backups, disaster recovery, documentation, and network architecture.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Maintenance, Instrumentation, Operations, and site leadership to resolve plant-floor problems.

Position Summary

We are hiring a Process Control Network Engineer to own and strengthen the technology backbone supporting our manufacturing operations in McIntyre, Georgia. This is a hands-on, highly visible opportunity for an industrial IT professional who wants autonomy, meaningful technical challenges, and a direct connection between their work and plant performance.

You will support the infrastructure connecting our IT and operational technology environments across two nearby facilities. From domain controllers and servers to managed switches, VLANs, historians, and data-acquisition systems, you will help ensure the platforms our production teams rely on remain secure, available, and performing as intended.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft domain controllers, Active Directory, user permissions, licensing, and the servers supporting plant operations.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot managed switches, VLANs, network connections, and communications between process-control devices and business systems.
• Diagnose server outages, communication failures, historian issues, broken tags, and data-collection interruptions that affect production visibility.
• Support SCADA, HMI, historian, PLC, operator-station, and industrial communication environments while partnering with controls specialists on plant-specific applications.
• Improve system reliability, cybersecurity, backups, disaster recovery, documentation, and network architecture.
• Collaborate directly with Engineering, IT, Maintenance, Instrumentation, Operations, and site leadership to solve critical plant-floor problems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong IT infrastructure, server, networking, or cybersecurity experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with five or more years preferred.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft domains, Active Directory, servers, managed switches, and VLANs.
• The ability to troubleshoot independently, prioritize competing needs, and take ownership of systems that support continuous plant operations.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT or related technical field is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience with SCADA, HMI, historians, PLCs, Wonderware, Aspen, Rockwell, virtualization, or OT cybersecurity is valuable but not required across every platform.

This is a full-time, onsite day-shift role offering a $125,000 to $140,000 base salary, eligibility for a management incentive plan, 14 PTO days, 11 paid holidays, and an additional accrued time-off bank. Occasional after-hours support may be needed, but call-ins are uncommon.
