Job summary

MP Materials Corp. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Specialist, Process Control to maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.

You will support daily plant operations, participate in CI projects, and help implement OPEX initiatives in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or equivalent platforms, and an Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with PLC/HMI-based process control systems in manufacturing.
• Proficiency reading and modifying electrical schematics and control documentation.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for plant process control systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and safety systems.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures for process control systems.
• Support commissioning and startup of new or modified control systems to meet specifications.
• Document issues, actions, and resolutions for engineering leadership.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and engineering to ensure safe, efficient operations.
