Job summary
ATI is seeking a Process Control and Automation Engineer to support the Hot Rolling Process Facility in Brackenridge, PA. You will design, implement, and integrate PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA solutions to improve efficiency and reliability at a market-leading facility that produces specialty metals for global customers.
The role emphasizes developing expertise of HRPF operations, implementing continuous improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced process control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro‑mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, ECE or related field.
- 3 years of electrical process control and automation experience.
- Experience with Siemens Level I PLC systems, PCS7 HMI, and TDC.
- Knowledge of Siemens Drives S120, G150, Simotion and related components.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot challenges to recommend continuous improvement strategies and solutions.
- Apply engineering principles to improve operating efficiency of automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process control models and strategies.
- Provide technical expertise for capital projects, evaluations, and modifications.
- Maintain and update process documentation regularly.
