Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Riegelwood, NC seeks a Process Chemist to support batch manufacturing, scale-up, and new product development within a safety- and quality-focused team. You will contribute to continual improvement and drive operational excellence across processes.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related field, SAP experience, and strong documentation and communication skills. Expect collaboration with the leadership team and cross-functional partners to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• BS Chemistry or related field required.
• Experience interpreting analytical results.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of safe handling/disposal of chemicals and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous documentation habits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience presenting results.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Commitment to Safety and Continual Improvement.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Ability to drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of processes from 5L to 1000 gallons.
• Execute standard batch manufacturing processes.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot, and identify deviations.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and yield.
• Coordinate with management on feasibility of new projects.
• Write and revise SOPs.
• Accurately execute SAP orders and maintain detailed records.
• Communicate and present information clearly and organize data.
