Job summary

RELCO (A Kovalus Separation Solutions™ Company) in Willmar, MN is seeking a Process Automation Supervisor to lead the Automation Department, directing electrical and automation work across projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence, and guiding cross-functional teams.

You will mentor engineers and technicians, develop cost estimates, collaborate with sales and project management, and drive quality, safety, and performance improvements while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation, computer engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in process automation leadership roles.
Experience with Rockwell, Ignition, and Siemens hardware/software.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor process automation engineers, technicians and assemblers.
Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget and specifications.
Provide cost estimates and sales support for automation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and cost efficiency.
Oversee design and development of new automation products and systems.
Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, performance and cost requirements.
Travel up to 20% as needed.
