Job summary

Kovalus Separation Solutions is seeking a Process Automation Supervisor in Willmar, MN. The role leads the automation department, guiding design, development, and optimization of electrical and automation products and processes.

You will plan resources, deliver automation work per contract scope, and drive cost efficiency and quality with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation, computer engineering or similar related degree.
• 10+ years’ experience with similar responsibilities.
• Experience with Rockwell, Ignition and Siemens hardware and software required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of process automation engineers, technicians and assemblers.
• Foster change, teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and performance feedback.
• Support project scheduling, reporting, and leadership updates.
• Oversee automation and electrical scope to meet schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information for design and execution.
