Job summary
Nucor Steel West Virginia is seeking a Level 2 Process Automation Engineer to join the maintenance and operations teams. The engineer will help ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant and lead reliability and process-improvement initiatives across Level 2 automation systems.

Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) years of experience in industrial process control/automation within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead Level 2 automation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams on safety, reliability, quality, costs and process improvements.
- Learn and apply diverse communication protocols and databases to support plant processes.
