Ash Grove Cement Company is hiring a Process Attendant in the United States, Florida. The role focuses on monitoring field activities, operating plant equipment, and ensuring uninterrupted material flow.

You will perform inspections, assist in sampling, and communicate with the control room to uphold safety and efficiency. The job requires basic math, reading/writing ability, physical stamina, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Formación

• High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, climbing equipment, working in confined spaces.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to safety guidelines per plant and MSHA regulations.
• Maintain two-way radio communication with control room or supervisor.
• Assist in sampling procedures.
• Inspect and clean weigh feeders for accuracy.
• Observe bag houses to guard against air contamination.
• Walk through preheater tower and look for air and material leaks, measure temperatures, ensure normal operation.
• Inspect kiln and clinker cooler area for proper operations.
• Inspect finish mill circuit for equipment soundness and leaks.
• Complete plant inspections at least once per shift.
• Check raw materials storage area for guarding, material flow and equipment soundness.
• Check raw mill grinding circuit for equipment soundness and leaks.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for monitoring of all field activities and operating equipment in the plant. To assure all material flows are continuous and uninterrupted. Perform work area inspections and report any unsafe working conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety guidelines according to plant and MSHA regulations.

• Walk through the raw materials storage area and check for proper guarding, material flow, equipment soundness, etc.
• Walk through raw mill grinding circuit and check for equipment soundness, material leaks, air leaks, etc.
• Maintain company standards for workplace cleanliness and organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.

Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.

Ability to perform physical tasks that include walking, climbing equipment, working within confined spaces.

Ability to drive and operate various equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, bobcats, etc.

Basic mathematic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage calculations).

Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and tolerate extreme heat and cold temperatures.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Be able to walk over 1 mile a day.

Frequently will be required to climb staircases up to 170 feet in elevation.

Constantly required to hear sounds and have clarity of near, far, and peripheral sight with depth perception.

Regularly requires the use of both hands for grasping and fine manipulations for repetitive motions.

Must be able to work rotating swing shifts including 12-hour shifts.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate is $20.67
