Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, EE, or Chemical Engineering required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in analytical lab or process analyzer design/maintenance.
• Strong competency in process controls and instrumentation.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple urgent issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert process analyzer engineering support for TX site and other locations.
• Identify and implement improvements for analyzers, sample systems, and online services.
• Maintain expertise in process gas chromatographs and environmental monitoring.
• Contribute to procurement and construction scope with equipment specs.
• Develop forecast cost and schedule estimates for projects.
• Lead standards teams to maintain analyzer standards and practices.
• Interpret codes and ensure compliance across site projects.
• Provide training to operating departments and Analyzer Mechanics.
• Stay updated on analyzer technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with E&I team on continuous improvement.
• Offer on-call analyzer engineering support for maintenance.
• Provide troubleshooting for complex analyzer issues.
• Uphold safety in work practices and design.
• Foster teamwork and customer satisfaction.
• Support Management of Change process.
• Prioritize work considering safety and regulatory criteria.
