Job summary

LyondellBasell is hiring a Maintenance Analyzer Technician for the BYO Polymers plant in Pasadena, TX. The role focuses on maintaining analyzers, reducing unplanned outages, and supporting reliability improvements to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications include 5+ years in analyzer maintenance for chemical or refining operations, with experience on online analyzers (GC/IR/CEMS) and sample conditioning knowledge. On-site work and collaboration with engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Analyzer maintenance experience in a chemical, refining or related process industry.
Experience with on-line analyzers such as GC, IR, CEMS, Oxygen, Water Quality, Gas Detection, etc.
Understanding of various analyzer technologies and hardware and how they apply to petrochemical plants
Knowledge of sample conditioning principles and hardware for analyzer systems

Responsibilities

Maintains the process analyzers and their support systems
Generates and reviews procedures
Develops and implements solutions to improve Analyzer MTBR and reduce unplanned maintenance events
Provides technical direction for engineering contractors on analysis equipment
Identifies areas where analyzers can improve plant operations and profitability
Provides assistance with FAT and SATs, commissioning and start-up as needed
