Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Associate Director - Process Analytics Lead to drive high-throughput analytical method development, automation, and platform implementation across small molecule and biologic programs. You will shape methods, support QA/compliance, and collaborate with multiple teams to standardize processes and improve data integrity.

Role requires 8–12+ years in analytical development, a relevant science/engineering degree, and proven leadership in cross-site automation efforts.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in analytical development or process analytics.
• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering; bachelor/master/PhD accepted.
• Experience designing/scaling automation across workflows/teams/sites.
• Robotics-enabled high-throughput analytical workflows experience.
• AQbD method frameworks and performance measures experience.
• Bridge high-throughput methods to GMP release/stability with Quality/Process Development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, and sustainment of high-throughput analytical methods across programs.
• Define standards, governance, and lifecycle management for methods.
• Ensure transfer, training, and implementation into labs with troubleshooting plans.
• Deliver platform roadmap including automated methods and end-to-end workflows with robotics.
• Support vendor selection and cross-site standardization across sites.
• Provide leadership and manage cross-functional workstreams and governance.
