Job summary

Truist is seeking a Process/Business Analyst in Raleigh to support process improvement initiatives and assist Process Engineers. You will gather requirements, perform analytical support, and identify efficiency opportunities while aligning with SMEs to validate details.

In this role you will interact with business SMEs, design and document process maps, and contribute to project meetings. A bachelor's degree and several years in banking/financial services are preferred; on-site location in one

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field or equivalent
  • Four years of process or project analyst experience in banking or financial services
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with BPM standards for mapping purposes
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrated proficiency with process mapping and/or process modeling
  • Knowledgeable in applying problem solving toolsets to create deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Provide business process based solutions to complex problems. Act as a Process SME for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.
  • Work with project teams, lines of business and other IT resources to analyze and develop solutions to satisfy business needs. Under general direction, instruct, direct, and check the work of other business analysts.
  • Develop and implement a data collection plan in support of projects led by Process Engineers
  • Assist with providing process improvement recommendations based on analysis of process maps, data collection, and root cause analysis
  • Facilitate and document project meetings and design sessions
  • Manage small project initiatives with limited scope.
  • Facilitate and document process mapping sessions, including ensuring documentation accurately reflects process owner discussion
  • Prioritizes responsibilities to balance initiatives and deliverables

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Four years of process or project analyst or relevant industry experience in banking, financial services, or other services industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with business process management (BPM) standards for mapping purposes.
  • Self-starter, highly-motivated, change agent with strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Process mapping and/or process modeling
  • Knowledgeable in applying problem solving toolsets to then create or draft process improvement deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Quality/process improvement-related designation.
  • Solid understanding of program and project management disciplines, techniques and approaches.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

The annual base salary for this position is $74,660.00 - $134,380.00.
