Job summary

Produces reports or package of reports utilizing databases, data assets, applications and more to provide information to business leaders. Reports may be in the form of standardized dashboards or customized views of data upon request. Ensures data pulled is consistent with business needs/requests. Applies knowledge of the business to customize reports and deliver meaningful information. Reviews reports to identify data integrity issues and provides feedback to application/database administrators to ensure any issues are addressed. Answers questions from end-users of reports to provide additional context. Reporting may be focused on regulatory matters, operational metrics, and productivity metrics. Produces reports utilizing databases and applications to provide information to business leaders. Reports may be in the form of standardized dashboards or customized views of data upon request. Applies a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end data processes/flows and concepts to implement frameworks, processes, controls, models, and solutions to ensure data is effectively managed across the organization or within a specific business unit. Drive automation & process optimization with focus on process efficiency and effectiveness. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Level II:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.).
  • Focus on process automation to improve efficiency
  • Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
  • Experience managing small-mid size projects with some complexity.
  • Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or MBA and 6 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in the banking industry.
Level III:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline.
  • Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.
  • Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
  • Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
  • Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective (new automation, new metrics, new tools etc.)
  • Focus on process automation to improve efficiency.Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or MBA and 10 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in the banking industry.
