Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Procedure nurse to provide quality care at the Methodist Physicians Clinic - Professional Center in Omaha, NE. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support physicians during procedures.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with emphasis on infection control, patient safety, and teamwork within a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required and nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Three to five years of clinical nursing experience with preference in Labor & Delivery or surgery.
• Ability to use sterile technique and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care per patient needs.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
• Triages emergencies and coordinates with physicians.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions as directed.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain equipment and supplies.
