You will provide patient information before procedures, assist the proceduralist during procedures, and support postoperative activities including vital signs and specimen handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and related patient care exposure. Strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility with scheduling are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Requires computer skills including Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use with the ability to keyboard and navigate multiple applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form, including proper telephone etiquette and friendly patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support and information before the procedure and assist the proceduralist during the procedure.
• Transport patients to and from the department and support postoperative reporting and specimen orders.
• Assist with various aspects of patient care, maintain room turnaround, and manage supplies as delegated.
