Job summary

The Procedural Registered Nurse at Page Mechanical Group, Inc. delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing procedures within a urology-focused Interventional Radiology program, including Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) and related procedures as the program develops.

The nurse provides care throughout the entire procedure, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure circulation and moderate sedation, and post-procedure recovery and discharge, working closely with the

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
Moderate sedation certification preferred; if not, obtain within 30 days of hire.
Procedural, perioperative, emergency, critical-care, PACU, or interventional radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete pre-procedure nursing assessments and verify patient readiness.
Review medical history, medications, allergies, labs, imaging, and other clinical information.
Provide education regarding the procedure, sedation, recovery, and discharge.
Serve as circulating RN during Interventional Radiology procedures and assist with medications and supplies.
Monitor vital signs and patient status during procedures and post-procedure recovery.
Ensure documentation and consent processes are completed and discharge instructions provided.
