The RN may support pre‑ and post‑operative recovery in Electrophysiology and Cardiac Catheterization

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• ACLS required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs and develops, implements, and evaluates a care plan.
• Coordinates care and directs staff to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates ability to advocate for patients and educate families.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and continuing education.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
