Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Procedural RN to deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures across Interventional Radiology and imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound.

The role includes pre/post‑procedure care, moderate sedation, discharge education, and on‑call coverage to ensure 24/7 patient care. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS may be needed for some units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred.
• License Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life support Certificate required.
• ACLS required for some specific clinical units.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs for care plan formulation, implementation and evaluation.
• Demonstrates decision‑making by integrating knowledge with practice.
• Coordinates care and directs staff to provide safe, efficient, patient‑centered care.
• Works in collaboration with other health professionals to determine healthcare needs.
• Maintains education requirements and participates in quality improvement activities.
