Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in the Day Surgery department. This is a full-time day shift position with a focus on safe, efficient nursing practice and patient education.

You will assess patients, develop individualized plans, and delegate tasks per state regulations and staff capabilities, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program or a minimum of 2 years school/work experience in nursing.
• A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
• Ideally some relevant professional experience, though less than one year could suffice.
• Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop/adjust personalized care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and ensure timely interventions.
• Audit nursing practices for quality and effectiveness and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and staff as part of care.
• Contribute to decision-making and maintain professional practice standards.
