The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide high-quality care in the procedural recovery unit, ensuring patient safety and family-centered support. Nurses collaborate across teams and participate in rotation to ECHO/contrast beeper as needed.

Applicants must be a graduate of an approved nursing program with Massachusetts registration; BSN preferred for new grads, ACLS certified, and capable of weekend/holiday shifts per contract. Onsite position in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

  • For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • ACLS certified and intravenous access skills are preferred.

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
  • Providing care for patients in the procedural recovery unit.
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
  • Include rotation to ECHO/contrast beeper
To qualify you must have:
  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Experience: Procedural Recovery Care Unit/PACU preferred
  • greater than 3yrs of (singular or combined) ED, ICU or stepdown cardiology experience required
  • Cardiology experience required
  • Intravenous access skills preferred
  • ACLS required
  • Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
  • Able to work weekend and holiday rotation per the MNA contract
