Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Procedural Recovery Care Unit. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure the safest possible environment for patients and families.

The ideal candidate will hold MA RN licensure, preferably with a BSN, ACLS certification, and PACU/ED/ICU experience. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with MA registration.
• Experience in PACU/Procedural Recovery preferred.
• Cardiology experience plus ACLS encouraged.

Qualifications

To qualify you must have:

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Experience: Procedural Recovery Care Unit/PACU preferred
• greater than 3yrs of (singular or combined) ED, ICU or stepdown cardiology experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• Intravenous access skills preferred
• ACLS required
• Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
• Able to work weekend and holiday rotation per the MNA contract
