Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Procedural Care Unit (PCU). The role provides nursing care before and after procedures across Electrophysiology, IR and Cardiovascular labs in a fast-paced outpatient/closed unit.

The RN ensures assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with on-call and weekend shifts; Ohio license and BLS are required, BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or multi-state compact
• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred at 5 years of employment
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments
• Document planned interventions to achieve patient outcomes
• Lead and participate in process improvement to enhance quality of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to revise care plans as needed
